THE WILDCAT BATTALION

WELCOMES YOU

Ever since our foundation in 1975, we have been proud to serve our school and community for over 50 years. We are the oldest and most awarded JROTC battalion in Plano ISD and strive for excellence. The Wildcat Battalion provides students with leadership training, character development, and opportunities for personal growth through military-style education and curriculum.

The purpose of JROTC is NOT to convince students to join the military, nor does it require students to partake in military service. JROTC uses the military as a guide to help students perform and succeed in everyday life.

Our Gold Star or Honor Unit with Distinction (HUD) is a proud symbol of our battalion's long-standing excellence. Since our founding, we have continuously maintained this prestigious honor, representing our commitment to outstanding leadership and service. This distinguished recognition is a testament to our battalion's consistent high performance and dedication over the past 50 years, making us a respected and recognized JROTC program in Plano ISD.

Our Mission Statement
